That’s right. We’re hosting the first ever World Series of CentPoker this Tuesday, May 12th, at 7CST.
How it works is the first 50 people to register for the tournament will be in. The buy-in price will be 90+10, so everyone is eligible to play. Registration will start at 6:30EST/5:30CST and will close at 8:00EST/7:00CST for the start of the tournament.
This will be a multiple table tournament with 5 tables, 10 seats per table.
The final 3 will be in the running for the table prize pot, with the 1st place player receiving the 10,000 chip bonus and a trophy on his or her profile!
All regular tournaments will be going offline at the start of the WSOCP registration. Tournaments still running will not go offline until they’re over to prevent people from losing their chips and winnings.
Make sure to tell your friends and family about this. It’s first come first serve, so don’t be late!

We just updated the game servers with the latest version and made some other changes to the servers. As you will see, there is now a Ring Games server and a Tournaments server.
Ring Games server consists of all of the ring games from both low-stakes and high-stakes, but with no tournaments.
Tournaments server consists of all of the tournament games, but now with more than ever. We have also added an ultra high 10,000 chip buy in table (#30) for those who want to go in for some very high pot tournaments. There are also a couple of ring games in this server for people to play in while waiting for tournaments to start.
The servers will now be more secure with the new upgrades, as well as less down-time for the low-stakes server as the stress of the tournaments has been taken off.

Today has been a day of many changes with the site.
1) Forum URL has been changed to http://www.centpoker.com/forum
2) Forum look has been completely updated. New skins, ads to help the community pot grow, more boards, etc.
3) Login bug from the main site to forums has been fixed. Please see the following thread if you still have trouble logging in. http://www.centpoker.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=337
4) Game client page has been cleaned up some

6) New form in the crony page that automatically posts your crony link on the following websites and applications:AIM, Text, Email, Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, Digg, Delicious, Buzz up!, Stumble Upon, Reddit, Blogger, TypePad, WordPress, Mixx, Technorati, and many more.
7) Main page has been changed some. New locations for forum link, log-out, and blog.
8.) New contact form up at http://www.centpoker.com/contact.php No more copy and pasting email addresses to contact us.
